Northfield Road Kitchen

This project consisted of new rear kitchen extension with pitched roof, complete with Velux windows & bi-fold doors opening to the back garden. The extension replaced an existing L shaped conservatory connected to the original part of the property, where a galley kitchen was situated.

A peninsula was decided as this suited the space perfectly, incorporating a Bora cooktop with integrated downdraft extractor, this allowed for a seamless design, eliminating the need for a bulky overhead extractor above. Doing this opened the space, perfect for entraining guests’ whist cooking!

The design consists of Leicht cabinetry, a ‘Bondi’ anti-finger print door in ‘Carbon grey’ for the peninsula & ‘Ceres door in ‘Platinum’ for the rest of the kitchen, both with stainless steel handle to give contemporary twist to the room, finished with light coloured 30mm thick quartz worksurface with undermount sink & drainer grooves to bring the whole scheme together.
