Chilton Cottage Bathroom

This room, originally a bedroom, was challenging with its unique character and difficult access for the materials and equipment. The cottage is a lovely property which the clients are renovating with a sympathetic feel and a good understanding and knowledge of the style that suits the house.

The walk in shower, with square ceiling rose, supplies a good pressure of water on the user and is controlled by the Lefroy Brooks thermostatic mixer valve. The feature wall was created using Fired Earth tiles from the Andalucia collection and cathedral limestone floor tiles were laid in a random format. The paint used for the wall panelling and furniture is from the Little Green Paint Company and was undertaken by the client however the bath’s outer shell paint was sprayed in the same colour and prepared in advance of the installation. Everyone is extremely pleased with the final details and feels the end result is a great success.
